Ian strongly believed in our NHS and joined the fight against its privatisation. He attended our meetings and our shared meals but would tend to keep himself to himself. I would often find him sitting at the bottom of the Temperance fountain on Clapham Common watching the crows. He shared with us many of his cartoon drawings making strong political points. We will really miss him.
